Blessings upon Blessings

The Huntsville Inner City Learning Center has been blessed beyond measure. In the last month, our community has supported us in some huge ways.

On November 27th, Lewis Hundley and Shelia Boland from Trideum Foundation presented us with a check from the Grounds for Hope event, where the Huntsville Inner City Learning Center was recognized as a finalist for the Nonprofit Organization of the Year! They visited with the staff and board and were given a tour of our facilites. We are so thankful for their generosity and willingness to serve us in this way.

On Tuesday, December 3rd, the HICLC attended the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville's Giving Tuesday event where we were given donations by ADTRAN and Google Fiber.

ADTRAN employees have the opportunity to donate a portion of their paycheck to a non-profit organization. At the event, they presented us with the funds that their employees chose to donate to us! ADTRAN’s program is such a wonderful way to give back to the community! We were honored to receive those funds.

Google Fiber chose the HICLC to receive their Google Fiber Digital Inclusion Fund. This provides the HICLC with three 3D printers and workstations for our STEAM room! At the HICLC, we are thrilled about any opportunity we have to expose our children to skills and opportunities that will help them in their future careers and endeavors . This is such a valuable gift for our students.
