Give It Back Track 5K

Our annual Give It Back Track 5K is all about teaching our students the value of giving to others. HICLC doesn’t keep the proceeds from our 5K. Each year our kids choose another non-profit to benefit from the race. The job of our students is to train for the event and complete it, as well as host the runners at our post run party. This year Graces of Gurley was the recipient of our race proceeds AND nearly every one of our students completed both the 5K and the one mile fun run. A special thank you to all of the runners who came out to compete or volunteer their time as a Running Buddy and an extra big shout out to Dana DeBardelaben, our volunteer race director, and LD Gale who created the unique awards!
