Bridgeworth Financial "Bridge the Gap" Fund Raiser

On Thursday night, Bridgeworth Financial held a "$10K Half Court Shoot Off" at Randolph High School benefiting the Huntsville Inner City Learning Center.

Randolph High School junior Curtis Cooper was chosen to make the shots. If Cutis made a layup, the HICLC would win $1,000. If he made a free-throw, the HICLC would win $2,500. If he made a three point shot, the HICLC would win $5,000 and if he made a half court shot, the HICLC would win $10,000! Curtis had 24 seconds to try and make all of these shots. Everyone in the gym watched in anticipation to see if he would make the shot!

We are excited to announce that Curtis Cooper made the half court shot and the HICLC received $10,000 dollars! The children, staff and board are still in shock and SO thrilled about the winning shot!

After the shot, Brian Hinson, a friend of our dear Art Leslie and a Bridgeworth Financial employee, talked to our kids about the love that God has for them. He wanted our kids to know that they are unique and special and fully loved and adored by God. He gave the children all two dollar bills to remind them of their uniqueness in God’s eyes.

The Huntsville Inner City Learning Center is honored of have been a part of this night. It was a night full of love and support and we are so thankful to Bridgeworth Financial for choosing to honor us.
